With over 30 years of experience in risk management and insurance, Javier (Hobby) Pardo specializes in supporting clients with complex risk profiles. Drawing on a career that spans underwriting, risk analysis, corporate risk management, and insurance broking, he brings a comprehensive and strategic approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risk.

Prior to joining Navacord, Hobby held progressive roles across the industry, including as an underwriter at a large P&C insurer, Risk Analyst at an integrated oil and gas company both in Calgary and Houston, Risk Manager at a power company and Risk Manager at an E&P company and Director of Risk at an integrated oil and gas company. Hobby spent the three years prior to joining Navacord as a Account Lead at a large multinational brokerage. This diverse experience enables him to provide clients with well-rounded insights into all facets of the risk management process.

Hobby holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is both a FCIP (Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional) and CRM (Canadian Risk Management) designation holder. He is committed to delivering informed, tailored solutions that protect and empower businesses across sectors.
